SUMMARY:Exploring the joy of mathematics and art
DESCRIPTION:Shukkuen is a visual artist who in the past decade has been
 focused on exploring the convergence of mathematics and art. Her work
 reflects the interplay between chaos and order\, dissonance and harmony and
 the sheer joy of exploring the infinite possibilities of lines\, curves\,
 and shapes that arise from numbers and formulae. This exhibit comprises a
 number of paintings and four sculptures. Shukkuen is also a life-long math
 educator. Her latest art work can be found in\n\nInstagram:

 will be held at the library on July 11th\, Saturday from 2:00 - 4:00pm with
 a talk at 2:30 pm\n\n&nbsp\;
