On Tuesday, April 7, the Local and Global Discussion Group of the Weston Library will again welcome Alexandra Vacroux, Director Emerita of the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University, who will bring us up to date on the war in Ukraine. A former resident of Weston, Vacroux has recently moved to Ukraine. This will be the third time Vacroux has spoken to the Local and Global Discussion Group, and she will address us via Zoom from Ukraine.
She will talk about the latest developments in the war; the outlook for resolution and what that resolution might look like if, indeed, it comes to pass, and when; the current mindsets of Zelensky and Putin; and what, if any, has been the impact of the war in Iran. The event is open to all who wish to discuss the issues in civil discourse with a wide variety of participants. The event will begin at 1:15 pm and end around 2:30 or 2:45. This will be an all in person event.
