Thank you for helping us support the METCO Senior fundraiser. In the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years (and possibly previous years as well), METCO 12th grade students have held fundraising events to help cover the cost of the traditional METCO Senior Appreciation event. METCO Senior Appreciation is a long-standing tradition in Weston (going back to at least 2005, and probably longer). It’s an opportunity for METCO seniors to gather with family, faculty and friends to recognize the milestone of graduation and express appreciation to all who have been part of their journey through the Weston Public Schools, especially their families. All members of the Weston community are welcome to attend, and the event is usually held on the Wednesday before graduation. Fundraising helps to cover expenses including the venue, refreshments, and kente cloth stoles for all the graduates.
