DESCRIPTION:Golden Ball Tavern  -  Join us for an online lecture with
 Malcolm F. Purinton\, Ph.D.\, renowned beer historian\, professor\, author
 and columnist who turned his love of beer into an academic vocation. He
 will discuss the role of beer and alcohol in Revolutionary times to the
 present day.\nThis interesting and lively lecture will be held on Tuesday\,
 April 8th at 6.30 p.m. on Zoom\nThe presentation is free - suggested
 donation is $10 to support the museum's education and preservation
 initiatives and allow us to continue to expand our offerings. Registration

 presenter:\n"I am a beer historian\, long-time home brewer\, beer writer
 and scholar.\nI am also an Assistant Teaching Professor at Northeastern
 University in Boston\, Mass. where I teach World and Food History as well
 as the histories of Technology\, Capitalism and Business\, and Imperialism
 and Colonialism. I received my doctorate from Northeastern University in
 2016 where I studied World History and the History of Beer and Brewing
 through topics of Empire\, Trade\, and Taste.
