SUMMARY:Weston Friendly Society presents holiday musical comedy She Loves
 Me Nov. 22-29
DESCRIPTION:The second oldest theatre group in the United States\, the
 Weston Friendly Society\, opens its 141st season with She Loves Me\, the
 holiday-set romantic comedy that Deadline calls the best Broadway musical
 you've never heard of.\n\nBased on the same play that inspired the classic
 1998 Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan film You’ve Got Mail as well as earlier
 films The Shop Around the Corner and In the Good Old Summertime\, She
 Loves Me features a tuneful score by the same songwriting team (Jerry Bock
 and Sheldon Harnick) behind Fiddler on the Roof. With songs like "Vanilla
 Ice Cream" and "Twelve Days to Christmas\," it's the perfect outing for
 families hosting (or visiting) for Thanksgiving.\n\nShe Loves Me will be
 performed at the Weston Town Hall on Nov. 22\, 23\, 28 and 29. There are
 7:30 p.m. performances on Nov. 22\, 28 and 29 and 2 p.m. matinees on Nov.
 23 and 29. (Nov. 28 is the day after Thanksgiving.)\n\nTickets are on sale
 now on the Weston Friendly Society website. Reserved seating at cabaret
 tables and balcony tickets are available for $28 for adults and $25 for
 seniors and students.\n\nThe performance venue is accessible\; patrons can
 take an elevator to the main performance level.\n\nThe Weston Friendly
 Society will close the 2025-2026 season with the musical Mary Poppins\,
 April 18-25. Auditions will be held Nov. 9 and 10 at the Weston Town Hall.
