DESCRIPTION:Join local pianist and composer Marvin Wolfthal as he returns
 to the Music Committee’s season on Sunday\, December 7\, at
 3:00 PM in the Community Room. His program\, “Franz Liszt in
 Italy\,” will take audiences on a musical journey through highlights
 from Liszt’s Années de Pèlerinage\, Volume II\, featuring Il
 Penseroso\, Canzonetta del Salvator Rosa\, the Petrarch Sonnets\, La
 lugubre gondola\, and Venezia e Napoli.\n\nWith a distinguished career as
 a performer\, scholar\, and advocate for both European and American
 music—spanning major premieres in Milan\, a celebrated teaching career\,
 and award-winning compositions—Wolfthal brings both depth and poetry to
 this exploration of Liszt’s Italian inspirations.\n\nThe concert is free
 and open to the public\, and the Community Room is handicapped accessible.
