We’re excited to invite you to the 3rd Annual Weston Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Breakfast on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 9:00 AM. This inspiring event celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. King, featuring powerful speakers, thought-provoking reflections, and opportunities to connect with others committed to justice and equity. This year’s breakfast includes a screening of Dr. King’s 1967 speech at Princeton titled “The Other America,” followed by a response from our panel of artists, activists, and educators.

Breaking Chains, Building Bridges: Artists as Architects of the Beloved Community: The Weston MLK, Jr. Memorial Breakfast Committee invites you to our 3rd annual breakfast and celebration to explore what it means to build “beloved community.”
Immediately following the screening, our in-person moderator will facilitate a lively discussion with a panel of local artists, social justice leaders, and educators. Engage with them as they respond to King’s speech and speak to the theme of art’s ability to empower our communities to seek creative ways to promote justice and equality.
