“Maytag Virgin” by Audrey Cefaly
Directed by Kristin Hughes and stage managed by Allison Rollings
October 24 – November 8
Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 3 pm
Set in small-town Alabama, Maytag Virgin is an emotionally charged and darkly funny play that is a slow-sparking collision between two smart, guarded schoolteachers on neighboring porches. Lizzy Nash, recently widowed and sharp as a tack, meets her match in Jack Key, a soft-spoken newcomer with secrets of his own. What begins as cautious small talk deepens into something richer and riskier: a story of loss, wit, and the quiet danger of being truly seen. Maytag Virgin explores how love can take root in the wake of personal tragedy.
Featuring:
Katie Pompeo as Elizabeth “Lizzy” Nash
Colin McIntire as Jack Key
