On Saturday, February 15, Wellesley native and Colonial era postal history collector Dr. Tim O’Connor joins the museum as Benjamin Franklin and discusses his life as a Founding Father, Boston native, and America’s first Postmaster General. Franklin was the subject of one of the United States’ first two stamps, issued in 1847!
This is the first in a series of programming focused on the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, which began in April of 1775.
This special event takes place in our main gallery, starting at 11AM.
