Commonwealth Ballet Company, a non-profit pre-professional dance company based locally in Acton, MA, is pleased to present the story of “The Nutcracker” ballet in word, music and dance, at the Weston Public Library. With the story read aloud, and brought to life with costumed company dancers performing excerpts of the ballet, this program is suitable for all ages. This is a great introduction to ballet for the young, and a preview of the wonderful full-length production of “The Nutcracker”, which will open on November 27th onstage at the Casey Theater, Regis College, for 9 performances. The presentation includes a meet and greet with the dancers and photo opportunities!
