Celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 11 at 3:00pm at the Weston Public Library with an afternoon of vibrant and expressive music for flute and piano. Performers Ceora Jaffe (flute) and Leah Kosch (piano) will present a richly textured program featuring the lyrical elegance of Prokofiev’s Sonata in D Major, the heartfelt tribute of Copland’s Duo for Flute and Piano— written in memory of legendary flutist William Kincaid—and the colorful, impressionistic Sonatine by Henri Dutilleux.
The concert is free and open to the public. The Community Room is also handicapped accessible.
