The Weston Art & Innovation Center is excited to invite neurodiverse individuals in 6th grade and older, including adults, to a free, youth-led inclusive art program on Sundays 2/22, 3/1, and 3/8 from 2:00–4:00 PM.
Student volunteers will work alongside participants on hands-on creative projects such as painting, drawing, and craft-making in a welcoming and supportive environment. Each participant will be paired with a peer mentor for guidance, encouragement, and individualized support while exploring art together! The program is sensory-friendly, with a calm atmosphere, access to a quiet space, and flexibility to accommodate individual needs.
Parents/guardians are asked to remain in the Art & Innovation Center during each session to help ensure a safe and supportive experience for all participants. Optional parent programming will be offered and led by parent volunteers.
Families may attend any number of the sessions that fit their schedule. Each session is limited to 10 participants to ensure personalized attention, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
