The Committee for Open Space and Recreation Plan is hosting public forums.
Option 1 In Person Sunday, October 26th 3-4:30 p.m. Weston Community Center (Great Room) at 20 Alphabet Lane
Option 2: On Zoom Monday October 27th 7-8:30p.m. Zoom ID 89032954341
The Committee has been working through the summer to update the 2017 OSRP to ensure that our parks, trails, and natural areas continue to meet the needs and priorities of our residents and visitors, and provide a roadmap for maintenance and new initiatives for the next ten years.
Your voice plays a critical role in this planning effort. At the meeting you choose, you will:
- Learn the results of our recently closed survey which garnered opinions from nearly 700 Weston residents
- Weigh in on the priorities identified in our Analysis of Needs. This draft section is being developed by updating the same section from the 2017 OSRP and incorporating feedback from this year’s survey, and can still be amended based on feedback from this and our second public forum.
- Help with the development of our goals, objectives, and action plan.
For more information, please email Jordan McCarron or Chris Fitzgerald.
