The next meeting of Weston’s Local and Global Discussion Group will be on Tuesday, May 6 at 1:15 pm in the Community Room of the Weston Public Library.
We will welcome representatives from six Weston non-profits, each of whom will make an 8-10 minute presentation about their organizations followed by five minutes for questions and discussion. The organizations that are included are: The Arts and Innovation Center, The Friends of the Weston Depot, The League of Women Voters, the Wayland and Weston Rotary Club, The Weston Media Center, and The Weston Observer (the upcoming town newspaper, which has just hired a managing editor). Be prepared to learn all about what these organizations do – and you may just be in for a surprise or two.
