Stewardship Saturday: Apple Tree Mulching at Concord Rd

Join Weston Conservation Staff and WFTA volunteers at our Orchard on Concord Rd as we perform our annual tree mulching and weeding. Work will involve clearing the area around each tree of grass and weeds and applying a thick layer of wood mulch. We will have wheelbarrows, hoes, rakes and shovels on hand. If we are lucky, there should be some ripe apples to reward us for our work.

Park and meet inside the conservation gate at the orchard, on the east side of Concord Rd directly across from the Land’s Sake field.
