The Longest Night: Service of Lament & Hope

December is the month of the shortest days and the longest nights. Though the holiday season is often heralded as a time for celebration, this is not a season of joy for everyone. All are invited to the Longest Night Service at 7 p.m. at Village Church in Weston at 130 Newton Street. This brief worship service offers a space to honor our grief and pain, both personal and collective. Through candlelight, prayers, scripture, and music, we’ll seek the comfort of community and remember that God is with us, even in our bleakest moments.
