Ukraine: What’s Next?
With Dr. Alexandra Vacroux, Director Emerita,
Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies,
Harvard University
This special event will take place from 1:15 to 2:15 pm in the Community Room of the
Weston Public Library on Wednesday, May 21 under the sponsorship of the Weston Local and
Global Discussion Group and the Weston Public Library.
Currently, Professor Vacroux is living in Ukraine working with the Kyiv School of
Economics as its vice president for strategic engagement. A former resident of Weston, Professor
Vacroux’s scholarly work addresses many Russian and Eurasian policy issues.
As the war in Ukraine drags on into its fourth year, Professor Vacroux’s insights will be
of considerable importance. She is currently on a short trip to the United States to see some of
her former students, among the best and brightest Harvard has to offer, graduate. We’re grateful
that she’s taken time out of her busy schedule to speak with us.
All who are willing to discuss the many issues in civil discourse with a wide variety of
participants are welcome to join us, in person or via Zoom. The Zoom link is
