
Weston – Let’s Walk, Bike & Roll!
Be part of the fun on May 7th to celebrate Massachusetts Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day! Organized by the PTO as a district-wide event, students of all grades are invited to make their way to school by walking, biking or scootering safely.
Woodland, Country & Field School:
- Plan to meet up at Town Hall or Regis College athletic parking area by 7:10 am to join a group of walkers or bikers or make your way directly from home. All participating students will have a chance to win prizes! Learn more and see the routes.
- Students in K-3 must have an adult accompanying them
- This is a one-way, morning event only. Parents are responsible for arranging to get bikes home. Note: It’s also an early release day!
- Biking starts at 7:15 am from Regis and Town Hall & walking groups start at 7:20 am
- METCO bus riders can opt to participate and walk with a chaperone from Case House to their respective schools
- Police will be at key intersections to ensure safe crossings
- This is an optional event and WPS bus transportation will follow the same route and schedule on May 7th
Middle/High School:
- Plan to meet up at Regis College athletic parking area or St. Demetrios Church by 8:10 am to join a group of walkers or bikers or make your way directly from home. All participating students will have a chance to win a gift card and other prizes! Learn more and see the routes.
- Biking & walking groups start from Regis and St. Demetrios Church at 8:15 am
- This is a one-way, morning event only. If you bike, either plan to bike home or arrange to pick it up later.
- Bike riders – bring a helmet and lock
- METCO bus riders can opt to participate and walk from St. Demitrios Church
- This is an optional event and WPS bus transportation will follow the same route and schedule on May 7th
