The Authors on Stage program, one of Greater Boston’s most anticipated and longest running literary happenings each spring and fall, is celebrating its 45th year of showcasing noteworthy writers. Sponsored by the Wellesley College Alumnae of Boston for book lovers of every definition, the event attracts bibliophiles from the greater Boston area eager for literary discussion or those simply curious to hear about newly published works. Attendees enjoy a lively morning of talks, autographing, and author-audience conversation with three current writers. The event is open to the public. All proceeds benefit the Wellesley College Library.
Ian Kumekara, Vanessa Lillie, and Joseph Luzzi: There’s something for all curious readers, whether it be a colorful portrait of Renaissance Italy, a riveting mystery centered on a missing Indigenous woman in Rhode Island, or an ingenious history of our global economy through the lens of a hulking barge.
Coffee and pastries are served starting at 9:30 am. Author presentations begin at 10:30 am. Parking is available in the Event Parking garage via the Central Street/Rte 135 entrance to the college campus.
Tickets are $30 for a morning of coffee, tea, pastries and three fabulous author talks.
