November’s Weston Concert & Jazz Jam presents “Lovella & Steve”, the music of pioneering jazz composer Carla Bley (née Lovella Borg) and her partner, bassist Steve Swallow. Come for the concert and stay to listen, sing and/or play your instrument.
The house band this month features Jonathan Fagan (piano), Miki Matsuki (drums), Jon Dreyer (bass) and Chris Welles (vocals, guitar). At the Weston Public Library (main building), on our usual 4th Sunday: 3 – 6 PM, Nov 23rd. Free and open to the public.
