Weston United Methodist Church Launches Live Mandarin Sermon Translation
To better serve our growing and diverse community, Weston United Methodist Church is pleased to introduce a new initiative that expands access to worship: live Mandarin Chinese sermon translation, available each week during our services.
Through a platform called Sermon Live, attendees—both in person and online—can listen to and read the scripture reading & sermon translated in real time. A QR code provides instant access on any computer or smartphone. Those attending in person can use headphones or earbuds to follow along, supported by our free WUMC Guest WiFi. The translation is nearly instantaneous and also includes a synchronized text display, making it easy to engage with the message in the way that works best for each individual.
This new initiative reflects our commitment to being a welcoming, inclusive congregation—removing language barriers so that more people can experience worship fully and meaningfully. Whether you are a longtime resident or new to the area, we invite you to join us and be part of a community where all are truly welcome.
