The participating Weston young authors are all Weston students who completed the Weston Recreation Department’s after-school program during the spring, fall, and winter sessions. Through the program, students wrote, illustrated, and published their own books, and this event would serve as their first public celebration!
Weston Young Authors’ Book Show would bring meaningful value to both our young authors and the Weston community:
It gives children a rare opportunity to present their published books publicly, building confidence, communication skills, and pride in their work.
It celebrates literacy, creativity, and youth achievement, reinforcing Weston’s strong culture of education.
It brings families together in a shared community space to support young creators.
It encourages other children in the community to see themselves as readers, writers, and creators. We anticipate a family-friendly event with book displays, author presentations, and community interaction.
Please view this event in the library calendar.
