Join us on Tuesday, October 8th at 1 pm for the sixth COA Woodland Walk of 2024. Joel Angiolillo, President of Weston Forest and Trail Association, will lead a fairly brisk hike over fields and wooded trails at Cat Rock and 80 Acres. The town bought the property in the 70s for conservation and public recreation. Before then it had been farmed since colonial days. The hike will include the old Cat Rock ski slope, Hobbs Pond and the new Hobbs Pond dam. Meet at the parking lot at the end of Drabbington Way, off North Ave/Route 117. Dogs on leash or under voice control are welcome. Wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. The hike will last approximately an hour and a half. Please call to register at 781-786-6280. If the walk needs to be cancelled, people who have registered will be notified.
